Faris is a young boy. He is afraid of height. He wants to join the archery club.

فَارِسٌ وَلَدٌ صَغِيرٌ. إِنَّهُ خَائِفٌ مِنَ الِارْتِفَاعِ. يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنْضَمَّ إِلَى نَادِي الرِّمَايَةِ.

The club meets on a high hill. Faris feels a little scared. But he wants to try something new.

يَجْتَمِعُ النَّادِي عَلَى تَلَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ. يَشْعُرُ فَارِسٌ بِقَلِيلٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ. لَكِنَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُجَرِّبَ شَيْئًا جَدِيدًا.

He walks up the hill slowly. He meets the kind teacher. The teacher smiles and says hello.

يَمْشِي عَلَى التَّلَّةِ بِبُطْءٍ. يَلْتَقِي بِالْمُعَلِّمِ اللَّطِيفِ. يَبْتَسِمُ الْمُعَلِّمُ وَيَقُولُ مَرْحَبًا.
