Map migration stories
You are at a family history workshop. Introduce yourself, then share a short migration story — from your own experience or your family's past, real or imagined. Use past tenses, time markers, and at least two phrases from the lesson (fled, displaced, asylum, integration, exile, settled, second-generation, and so on). Then ask your partner about their own story and respond to what they share. Aim to use at least one sentence of personal reflection as well as factual detail.
