The Sleepover

Amy's best friend is Kate. Amy says, "Do you want to come to my house for a sleepover?" Kate says, "Yes, I would love that!"

On Friday evening, Kate comes to Amy's house. They put blankets and pillows on the floor. Amy's mum makes popcorn for them.

They watch a funny film together. Then they play board games. Kate wins the game. Amy laughs and says, "Good game!"

Later, they talk about secrets. Amy tells Kate about her cat. Kate tells Amy about her hamster. They talk until late.

At midnight, they are tired. They get into their sleeping bags. "Good night, Kate," says Amy. "Good night, Amy," says Kate. They close their eyes and fall asleep.

In the morning, Amy's mum makes breakfast. Kate has eggs and toast. They had a great sleepover!
