Talk about spending

You are chatting with your friend Emma. She has just asked about your recent shopping. Describe something you bought recently. You should: say what you bought, say how much you paid (use 'I spent… on…' or 'I paid… for it'), say whether you think it was good value (use 'a real bargain', 'good value for money', or 'a complete rip-off'), and mention how you paid (cash, card, and so on).
