The Story
It is Grandpa's birthday next Saturday. Sam has a good idea.
"Mum, let's have a surprise party for Grandpa!"
"Good idea, Sam," says Mum. "Let's decorate the house."
They blow up blue and red balloons. They put them on the walls. They make a big birthday cake. It has "Happy Birthday" on it.
Sam calls Grandma. "Come to our house on Saturday. It's a surprise!"
On Saturday, Grandpa comes to Sam's house. "Surprise!" everyone shouts. Grandpa is very happy. He sees the balloons and the cake.
"Thank you," says Grandpa. "This is the best birthday ever." They eat cake, play music and dance together. It is a wonderful day.
Translation
إن عيد ميلاد جدّي سيكون يوم السبت القادم. لدى سام فكرة رائعة.
"أمي، لنُقيم حفلة مفاجأة لجدّي!"
"فكرة رائعة يا سام،" قالت أمي. "لنُزيّن المنزل."
انفخوا بالونات زرقاء وحمراء. وضعوها على الجدران. صنعوا كعكة عيد ميلاد كبيرة. كُتب عليها "عيد ميلاد سعيد".
اتصل سام بجدتي. "التفضلي إلى بيتنا يوم السبت. إنها مفاجأة!"
في يوم السبت، جاء جدّي إلى بيت سام. "مفاجأة!" صرخ الجميع. كان جدّي سعيدًا جدًا. رأى البالونات والكعكة.
"شكرًا لك،" قال جدّي. "هذا أفضل عيد ميلاد على الإطلاق." أكلوا الكعكة وعزفوا الموسيقى ورقصوا معًا. كان يومًا رائعًا.
