The Story
Lily takes a pencil and some paper. She draws a small cat. The cat is orange and white. She draws big eyes and a long tail.
Suddenly, the cat moves! It jumps off the paper. Now it is real!
"Thank you for drawing me," says the cat.
Lily smiles. "Hello, little cat."
Lily looks for her red pencil. It is lost in the garden. She looks under the flowers. She looks under the tree. It is not there.
The cat smells the ground. It runs to a bush. It pulls the red pencil out with its teeth.
"Here it is!" says Lily. She is very happy.
The cat sits on her lap. Lily draws a picture of the cat. The cat closes its eyes and smiles.
