The Old Post Office

Tom walks to the old post office. Today is Saturday. He visits his grandma.

Grandma works at the post office. She sorts the letters. "Do you want to help me?" she asks Tom.

"Yes, please!" says Tom. He sits at the big table. There are lots of letters. Tom picks up each letter. He puts them in different boxes.

Then he finds a strange letter. There is no address on it. "Grandma, look at this," he says.

Grandma looks at the letter. "There is no address," she says. "Who sent this?"

Tom looks at the letter carefully. There is a picture of a red flower on it. Grandma smiles. "I know this paper," she says. "It is from Mrs Green. She lives in the house with the red door."

Tom runs to Mrs Green's house. He gives her the letter. Mrs Green is very happy. "This is my letter," she says. "Thank you, Tom."

Tom smiles. He likes helping at the post office.
