We can talk about jobs with very simple sentences. Use he for a man, she for a woman, and I for yourself. The verb is goes with he and she. The verb am goes with I. Always add a or an before the job.
For example, we say He is a driver and She is a nurse. We do NOT say He are a driver. This is a common mistake, so be careful. The verb must match the person.
To ask about a job, we say What is your job? To answer, we say I am a [job]. For example, I am a teacher. or I am a nurse. You can also add a good or a nice before the job: She is a good doctor. Listen to the dialogue, then say the sentences yourself.

مثال: بنقول I am a driver ومش بنقول "I is a driver". وبنقول He is a teacher ومش بنقول "He are a teacher". كتير من المتعلّمين بيقعوا في الغلطة دي، فخلي بالك إن الفعل لازم يطابق الشخص.
الـ a قبل اسم الوظيفة
دايماً بنحط a قبل اسم الوظيفة:
I am a nurse.
She is a doctor.
He is a police officer.
إزاي تسأل عن الوظيفة
What is your job? يعني إيه وظيفتك؟
What does he do? يعني إيه شغله؟
What does she do? يعني إيه شغلها؟

بنستخدم الجملة: I am a [job]. زي: I am a teacher. أو I am a nurse. وممكن تضيف كلمة حلوة زي good أو nice قبل الوظيفة: She is a good doctor.

Meet eight common jobs. People work every day in many places. A doctor helps sick people in a hospital. A teacher teaches children in a school. A nurse helps the doctor with patients. A cook makes food in a kitchen. A driver drives a car, a bus, or a taxi. A farmer works on a farm with animals and plants. A police officer helps keep people safe in the city. A waiter brings food to people in a restaurant.
Look at the table below. Each word is a job you can see every day. We use a or an before a job. Use a before a consonant sound: a doctor, a teacher. Use an before a vowel sound: an engineer (but a uniform because 'u' sounds like 'you').
We can also say He is a doctor for a man, and She is a teacher for a woman. The verb is goes with he and she. Read the example sentences in the table out loud. This will help you remember the new words.
