الفرق بين Present Perfect و Past Simple
الفكرة الأساسية هنا إنك تستخدم Present Perfect لما تسأل عن تجربة في الحياة بشكل عام، من غير ما تحدد وقت. الجملة النموذجية هي:
Have you ever been to Paris? = هل سبقلك زرت باريس؟
كلمة ever بتتكتب مع have وبتفيد إنك بتسأل عن أي تجربة حصلت في حياتك لحد دلوقتي.
لكن لما تحكي عن الرحلة نفسها في وقت محدد، بنستخدم Past Simple:
I went there last year = رحت هناك السنة اللي فاتت
I visited London in 2022 = زرت لندن في سنة 2022
يعني ببساطة: Have you ever been to = بتسأل عن التجربة، و I went / I visited = بتحكي الرحلة.

When we see a photo of the Eiffel Tower, we know immediately that it is Paris. When we see Big Ben, we think of London. When we see the Statue of Liberty, we think of New York. Landmarks help us recognise a city in just one second.
Europe has some of the oldest and most famous landmarks in the world. London has Big Ben, TowerBridge and St Paul's Cathedral. Paris has the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. When we talk about cities, we use several useful words. A landmark is any famous place that people easily recognise. A monument is a structure built to remember an important person or event. A statue is a sculpture, often of a person or an animal. A square is an open public area in the centre of a city. A bridge connects two sides of a river, and a tower is a tall, narrow building. A cathedral is a large, important church, and a skyscraper is a very tall modern building.
