Now you can talk about the devices you use. Here are useful phrases for a short conversation.

First, the question: What device do you use every day? You answer: I use my phone every day. You can also say: I have a laptop. or I watch TV at night.

Next, ask a follow-up question: When do you use it? or What do you use it for? Your friend can say: I use my tablet at school. or I use my headphones on the bus.

Common sentences to know:

I use my [device] every day. — the main sentence for daily use.
I have a [device]. — to say you own it.
I watch [something] on my [device]. — to say what you watch.
I listen to music on my [device]. — to say what you listen to.

When you talk about your device, use my. When you talk about someone else's, use his or her. For example: She has a camera. Her camera is new.

Remember: speak slowly first, then more clearly. Smile and have fun!

الدرس بيتكلم عن الأجهزة اللي بنستخدمها كل يوم، زي الموبايل واللاب توب والتابلت والتلفزيون. وهتتعلم إزاي تعمل محادثة قصيرة بالسؤال والجواب عن العادات دي.

الجملة الأساسية اللي هتبني عليها كلامك

الجملة الأهم في الدرس هي:

I use my [device] every day.

يعني أنا بستخدم الـ [الجهاز] بتاعي كل يوم. لاحظ إن بعد use بنحط الـ device وبعدين بضيف every day لو عايز تقول إنك بتستخدمه بشكل يومي.

نوعين مهمين من الجُمل

لما تتكلم عن حاجة بتستخدمها بانتظام: I use my phone every day. I call my mom.
لما تتكلم عن حاجة عندك في البيت أو الشغل: I have a laptop at home. I use my laptop for work.

إزاي تسأل صح

لو عايز تسأل صاحبك، استخدم do أو does قبل ما تسأل. مثلا:

What device do you use every day? Do you watch TV at night? When do you use it? What do you use it for?

لو عايز الإجابة تكون إيجابية، قول Yes وبعدين أضف الجملة الكاملة: Yes, I watch TV after dinner.

لما بتتكلم عن حاجة بتاعتك بتقول my: I use my phone every day.

لما بتتكلم عن حاجة بتاعة واحد تاني:

his للولد: He has a camera. His camera is new.
her للبنت: She has a tablet. Her tablet is new.

خلاصة سريعة

use + my + [device] = بتستخدمه بانتظام
have + a + [device] = عندك الجهاز ده
watch / listen to + [الشيء] + on my [device] = بتعمل إيه عليه

ابدأ بالسؤال، جاوب بإجابة قصيرة، وبعدين اسأل صاحبك سؤال تاني. كده المحادثة هتمشي بسهولة وطبيعية.

We use many devices every day. A device is a small machine. We use devices to talk, work, learn, listen, and watch. A phone is for calls and messages. A computer and a laptop help us work and study. A tablet is like a small computer you can hold. A TV shows movies and shows. A camera takes photos. Headphones play music in your ears. A smartwatch is a small watch on your wrist.

Look at the table. Each word is a noun. We say a or an before the device: a phone, a laptop, a TV. We often say my to talk about our own device: my phone, my computer.

To talk about a device, we use I use my [device]. For example: I use my phone. To say when, add a time: I use my phone every day. or at night.

We can also say I have a [device] when we want to say we own it. I have a camera. Or we can say I watch [something] on my [device]. I watch movies on my TV.
