L'histoire

The Little Red Boots

Sam puts on his red boots. They are his favourite boots. "Come on," says Sam. "Let's go to the park."

Sam runs to the park. He plays on the swings. He climbs the big tree. He runs and runs.

Then Sam sits on the grass. "Where is my boot?" he says. He looks under the bench. He looks in the grass. He looks by the tree. But he cannot find it.

Then Sam sees a little brown squirrel. The squirrel looks at Sam. The squirrel runs to a big tree. It digs in the dirt.

Sam runs to the tree. He looks at the ground. And there is his red boot! "Thank you, little squirrel!" says Sam. Sam smiles. He is happy.
