The Old Bicycle

Grace was cleaning the attic last Saturday. It was dusty and dark. She found an old bicycle behind some boxes.

The bicycle was green. It was very dirty. Grace cleaned it carefully. She washed the wheels. She polished the frame. The bicycle looked beautiful!

"It's my bicycle now," she said to her mum.

Grace was eleven. She didn't have a bicycle. She went outside and tried to ride it. It was easy. She rode up and down the road. She was very happy.

On Monday, Grace rode her bicycle to school. Her friends saw her. "Wow! Nice bike!" said Tom.

"Where did you get it?" asked Sarah.

"I found it in my attic," said Grace.

Her friends were very impressed. Grace smiled. She loved her old bicycle.
